This new version is improved in several ways, including the fact that it’s now easier to print-and-carry (so you can work in the field without a computer, if needed). I can’t figure out a reason why on-field member care workers would *not* want to use this tool to assist cross-cultural workers (of all kinds) in adapting and living effectively overseas. It’s exceptionally well done. Thanks Phil!

To top it all off, this course is free. What’s more, it’s an online course that you and your team can tackle from any location in the world, from Afghanistan or Zanzibar. Developed by Kelly and Michèle O’Donnell, Member Care Associates, this course will take you through Team Characteristics, Health/Dysfunction, Team Leaders, Team Building/Conflict, and Summary-Applications. Find it at…

You’ll have to register at Nixty.com if you haven’t already. By the way, in case you’re wondering, the Chronicle of Higher Education recently did a big review on Nixty (July 23, 2010) and found it to be a great help as a “do it yourself” website for online course construction. So, once again, we’re grateful to Kelly and Michèle!

You can send your friends the link below, or you can download particular resources yourself and send those books or brochures as attachments. This site is openly Christian and quotes Scripture, but it never uses words such as “missionary” or “missions.” The website has 9 books, each in the following formats: .pdf, .doc, .zip, .mobi (for Kindle) and, .epub (for other E-readers, such as Nook or Sony). It also has 70 brochures, each available in the following formats: .pdf and .doc. You can’t beat the price–everything is free. Find it at…
