The US Commission for International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and Open Doors USA each publish a list of persecuting countries. The lists are not identical. Six of the top 12 according to Open Doors are listed in USCIRF’s list of 11 “Countries of Particular Concern.”

The top 12 worst persecuting countries from the Open Doors list (North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Maldives, Bhutan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Laos, Uzbekistan,China, Eritrea, and Somalia) are described in bulletin format for easy download here (469K PDF).
