Deep Change: What can I do to make it better?

What are you going to do about it,” The Summit Blog: a short inspirational little post that contains a few rudimentary ideas about the idea of change and how we respond to it.

“Change in the specific … starts a mourning process.”

Mourning strategies: change denial, blame shifting, defensiveness, passive/active resistance.

To move beyond mourning and actually change, we must:

(1) willing to let go of what presently is (pruning away old habits–consider the minimalist idea, “perfection is when there is nothing left to take away“); and,

(2) engage a “moment of truth”: “all things being as they are, what can I do to make it better?”

The Mission Exchange‘s upcoming Reset conference is all about the subject of Deep Change.
