Building a community is the hard part

You can develop a vision and you can identify the things that need to be done. And you can even do some of them. But if a vision is bigger than you, then you’ll need more than just you working on it.
That means you have to build a community. Getting people involved is the hard part.
People are busy. They may be afraid, and not ready to take the plunge. They may only be marginally interested in the vision.
Jimmy Wales rarely wrote any pages on Wikipedia. He spent most of his time in the early days persuading other people to start writing pages on Wikipedia. Even today, most people who edit Wikipedia only make one edit in their entire lifetime.
Building a community of active, involved, regularly participating people is hard.
You didn’t expect your vision to be easy, did you?
